Mead won the last time they faced Horizon and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Mavericks came out on top against the Hawks by a score of  3-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Mavericks.

Mead's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Horizon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mead is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Silver Creek  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Horizon will  challenge  rival Holy Family  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
