Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Matthew Johnson stepped things up a notch to give Laneville the 'W'. Johnson was dialed in and scored ten points along with five assists and two steals. He played a big game the last time he faced Centerville, so the team probably should've seen him coming.
Johnson and Laneville won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Johnson will face off against Caden Diaz on Friday, Apple Springs' star point guard. Will Johnson turn in another gem to overcome Laneville? We'll have our answer very soon.
