Davidson Day extended the longest winning streak in NCISAA Freelance this week by beating First Assembly Christian, 46-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee moved up to 344 from 421 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league.
Chad Grier's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Will Grier threw for 421 and six touchdowns and Michael Stevens had 169 yards receiving. On the ground Jordan Brown chipped in 43 yards. Aaron Seward helped Davidson Day's passing attack out by catching four balls for 79 yards.
Davidson Day's Grier and Seward have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Grier has thrown for 4457 yards this season, while Seward, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 57 catches for 1503 yards. The Eagles' Gerrio Rahming leads the league in rushing yards with 1565.
Davidson Day took down the Eagles 46-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Grier ran for 20 yards in the win.
