D'Evelyn was led to victory by Robelle Abai and Vince Scaturro. Abai scored ten points along with two steals, while Scaturro scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Taj Kumar, who scored nine points.
D'Evelyn's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Conifer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
D'Evelyn will head out on the road to face off against Standley Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Standley Lake is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.2 points per game. As for Conifer, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheat Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Wheat Ridge is ranked 254th, while Conifer is ranked 243rd).
