On Tuesday, Ridgeview Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 64-58 to Blue Ridge Christian. Ridgeview Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Roanoke Valley Christian waltzed into their contest on Monday with 18 straight wins but they left with 19. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 79-51 victory over Timberlake Christian. Roanoke Valley Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Jeremy Chou, who scored 23 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Alex Nelson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Ridgeview Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Roanoke Valley Christian, their victory was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2.
Ridgeview Christian ended up a good deal behind Roanoke Valley Christian in their previous meeting back in January, losing 60-42. Can Ridgeview Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
