Softball Recap: Kittitas Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Kittitas barely beat Warden the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Coyotes' pitchers stepped up to hand the Cougars a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Coyotes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.

Kittitas is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.2 runs over those games. As for Warden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Kittitas and Warden will both be playing Colfax the next time they take the field. The Coyotes will head out to face the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
