After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aragon, Marshall was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the City Arts and Leadership Academy Hawks 59-27. The Phoenix's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Marshall's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Marshall has already played their next matchup, a 62-44 victory against Sterne on the 11th. As for City Arts and Leadership Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on June Jordan School of Equity at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
