Make it ten blowout wins for the Bishop Kenny Crusaders this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Mandarin 56-18 at home. The win was familiar territory for Bishop Kenny who now have six in a row.
Bishop Kenny had a senior duo take command as Riley Talbert scored 12 points along with six assists and three steals and Clare Coyle scored 13 points along with two steals. Abby Baker was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Bishop Kenny's win was their 22nd straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Mandarin, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Kenny will take on Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mandarin, they will be playing at home against First Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
