Softball Recap: Northwest Christian Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Northwest Christian won the last time they faced Scottsdale Christian Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 27-8 margin over the Eagles. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Kinsey Unger was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, four runs, and two stolen bases. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mia Angus, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Northwest Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in nine consecutive contests.

Northwest Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.7 runs over those games. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.
