For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when North Pike and Brookhaven meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. North Pike fell just short of Brookhaven by a score of 5-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Leyton Henagan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke LeBlanc, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

North Pike's record is now 13-6. As for Brookhaven, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-6.

While North Pike had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
