The Christ Prep Academy Patriots will challenge the Sacred Heart Gremlins at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Christ Prep Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Christ Prep Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Heritage Christian Academy and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by just one run.

Christ Prep Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Davis, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sacred Heart). They came out on top against Stover by a score of 13-10 on Thursday. The Gremlins haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

This is the second loss in a row for Christ Prep Academy and nudges their season record down to 5-5. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Sacred Heart, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
