Volleyball Recap: Nettleton Starts Season with Victory Against Highland

Nettleton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the Highland Rebels with a sharp 3-0 win. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-21, 25-8.

Nettleton was led to victory by Avery Sample and Lauren Mcclain. Sample had 14 digs and three aces, while Mcclain had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Mcclain has posted since back in September of 2024.

Nettleton has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Searcy on the 28th. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Hoxie on the 26th.
