Volleyball Recap: Nettleton Starts Season with Win at Home

Nettleton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the Highland Rebels with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-21, 25-8.

Nettleton was led to victory by Avery Sample and Lauren Mcclain. Sample had 14 digs and three aces, while Mcclain had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Mcclain has posted since back in September of 2024.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nettleton will challenge Searcy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland, they will square off against Hoxie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
