In what's become a running theme this season, the Liberty Christian Patriots gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 68-41 victory over Wilmington Christian Academy at home. Winning may never get old, but Liberty Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Liberty Christian was led to victory by Ian Sterrett and Jakeem Bradford. Sterrett scored 22 points along with four steals, while Bradford scored 29 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sterrett has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nate Young, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Liberty Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-11.
Liberty Christian will take on Southside Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Luke Boush and Bradford. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Greenville Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m.
