After losing to the Pickford Panthers the last time they met, the Engadine Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Engadine took their contest against Pickford last Wednesday 71-61.
The Eagles had a senior duo take command as Sophia Vaughn had 27 points and five assists along with five steals and Izzy Kopsi posted a double-double on 16 boards and 15 points along with three blocks. This makes it ten games in a row in which senior Sophia Vaughn has had at least three steals. Vaughn's points were the most she has had all season.
Engadine will be playing in front of their home fans against Rudyard on Tuesday. Unlike Engadine, Rudyard will be stumbling in off of a loss. As for Pickford, they will face off against St.Ignace next week. Pickford fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game as the odds are decidedly against them.
