The Ocean View Christian Patriots will face off against The Cambridge School Griffins at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cambridge School took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ocean View Christian, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Ocean View Christian turned things around against Logan Memorial Education Campus two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ocean View Christian took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-8.

Ocean View Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tori Worthington led the charge by getting seven kills and seven aces. Worthington is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Della Sandoval, who had nine aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Ocean View Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 37 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 16 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, The Cambridge School didn't have quite enough to beat High Tech CV on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
The Cambridge School took High Tech CV into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 17-25, 15-25, 15-9.
The win got Ocean View Christian back to even at 5-5. As for The Cambridge School, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
