The Chapel Hill Tigers fell victim to the Hoggard Vikings''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Vikings on the road and fell 52-0. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, Chapel Hill couldn't push the score so high this time.
Among those leading the charge was M?kel Bellamy, who rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Bellamy is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Javion Joseph-fontaine was in the mix too, providing Hoggard with two touchdowns.
Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Hoggard, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Chapel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hoggard will look to defend their home field on Friday against Jordan at 7:00 p.m. Jordan is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
