1A Conference 10 recap November 5, 2013
Plymouth took down Manteo 30-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Chad Dance ran for 132 yards during the win.
Camden County and Perquimans played the most contested game in 1A Conference 10 this week, with Camden County eventually emerging with a 34-31 victory.
Raheim Spencer provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Columbia beat Creswell.
Spencer was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 188 yards on 11 carries as the Wildcats defeated the Redskins. Teammate Johndre Bowser added to the ground attack by rushing for 46 yards.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Christian Latham. The Camden County star has 22 catches for 403 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Gates County takes on Plymouth. At the moment, the Red Barons are in sixth, while Robert Cody's team is in first.
The Vikings made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,682 from 2,778. The improvement was the result of a 30-0 victory over Manteo last week.
