It was a good run, but Stony Point unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Round Rock Westwood Warriors by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Stony Point's loss dropped their record down to 15-12-1. As for Round Rock Westwood, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-15-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Stony Point is set to face off against their familiar foe Round Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.7, the Dragons 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Round Rock Westwood will square off against rival Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
