It was a good run, but the Lee Generals unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Mount Si on the road and fell 84-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Trevor Hennig, who scored 24 points along with nine rebounds for Mount Si. The matchup was Hennig's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Forrest, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 assists.
Lee now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Mount Si, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Lee will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Mira Costa at 4:30 p.m. on December 28, 2023. Mira Costa has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Mount Si will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Coronado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coronado has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 695 points over their last ten matchups.
