Winnsboro had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Prairiland on Friday. The Raiders blew past the Patriots 9-3. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Winnsboro's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-8. As for Prairiland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Winnsboro and Prairiland will both be playing Mount Vernon the next time they take the field. The Patriots will head out to face the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Raiders will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
