Northview is a perfect 4-0 against Clarkston since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Angoras at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Northview lost 11-1 to Marist on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly ten runs.

Northview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Schmidt, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Clarkston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-0 to North Springs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Clarkston's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Northview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-14.

Northview took their win against Clarkston in their previous matchup back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 26-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
