Tilayzia Youmans was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 10 rebounds for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler. The game was Youmans' third in a row with at least ten points. Akeira Blue was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 4 steals.
C.A. Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
C.A. Johnson will head out on the road to face off against Eau Claire at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Blackville-Hilda at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Blackville-Hilda focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 last Tuesday.
