Logan Georges put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Wednesday. He wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with one or fewer walks.

Georges' strong effort led Clovis over Clovis East and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
