Stockton came tearing into Monday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Skyline a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Stockton, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Stockton's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games.
