CSTHEA's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but P Jackson led the charge by rushing for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Jackson also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing two fumbles, making seven total tackles, and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. Another player making a difference was J Smolen, who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.
He was just one part of a punishing run game: CSTHEA was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 237 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
CSTHEA didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jackson and L Piper. Jackson has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
