Hill Country Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Town East Christian Eagles as the Hill Country Christian Rams made off with a 16-7 victory.
GARY DAILEY was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. DAILEY was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, ALEX Alvarado was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Five bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of RAINE ARSENAULT, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3.
Hill Country Christian will take on Valor South Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Valor South Austin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season. Town East Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
