While Dongola put up plenty of  runs on Tuesday, the same  can't be said for Meridian. The Demons were the clear victors by  a  12-0 margin over the Bobcats. The  game marked the Demons' most dominant  win of the  season.
 Abigail Lang was a major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That  hit was  her first of the season. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Hayden Etheridge was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Kali Short, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
The  victory made it two in a row for Dongola and  bumps their season record up to 3-3. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0  runs in those games. As for Meridian,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dongola will square off against Elverado at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Meridian, they will take on Scott County Central at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
