The Midlothian Heritage Jaguars will head out on the road to challenge the Centennial Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Midlothian Heritage is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
Last Friday, Midlothian Heritage strolled past Burleson with points to spare, taking the game 41-27.
Ava Batty was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 20 points. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Ivy Preusser was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Meanwhile, Centennial lost to Burleson on the road by a decisive 45-28 margin on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Centennial has scored all season.
Midlothian Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-7.
Midlothian Heritage and Centennial were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but Midlothian Heritage came up empty-handed after a 31-30 defeat. Can Midlothian Heritage avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
