The Red Lake Warriors can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 104-38 victory over Laporte. That 66 points margin sets a new team best for Red Lake this season.
Gerald Kingbird jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-8 from long range and dropping a double-double on 30 points and ten assists. Kingbird jr is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Dave Dudley Jr was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Red Lake's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 50.33 points. As for Laporte, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Lake won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fond du Lac Ojibwe O at 3:00 p.m. on January 13th. As for Laporte, they will head out on the road to take on Kelliher/Northome at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
