The North Creek Jaguars will challenge the Stadium Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last four games North Creek has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
North Creek's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Eastlake 2-0. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly two runs.

Eastlake's batters probably weren't too happy with Cayden Christopherson, who pitched a no hitter and racked up six Ks (he gave up two walks). Christopherson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, North Creek's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Boschee, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
North Creek hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastlake struck out six times.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stadium). They put the hurt on Auburn with a sharp 13-3 win on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Finn Wood made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Stadium is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-8 otherwise. Wood was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Brandt Juergens was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Eli Weir, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
North Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Stadium, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
North Creek skirted past Stadium 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
