The Meridian Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Lewiston 53-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Meridian.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Everett Bohling, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Bohling scored a full 34.3% of Lewiston's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Rule, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Meridian's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Lewiston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meridian will take on McCool Junction on Thursday. McCool Junction will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Lewiston, they will head out on the road to face off against Cedar Bluffs on Friday.
