The Forest Hills Rangers will head out to challenge the Clearfield Bison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Forest Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.
Forest Hills lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Bishop Carroll, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's match. The Rangers blew past the Huskies 18-3 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Xander Richardson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Richardson was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off three triples, four runs, and one RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Clearfield's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Forest Hills has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.1 hits per game. Forest Hills couldn't quite get it done against Clearfield in their previous matchup back in April of 2015 as they fell 7-3. Can the Rangers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
