Mercy School Institute's loss came despite strong showings from Hannan Ashraf and Mohammad Albirini. Ashraf scored 18 points, while Albirini scored 12 points.
Mercy School Institute's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Wesleyan Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.
Mercy School Institute's road trip will continue as they head out to face Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Trinity is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Wesleyan Christian will take on South Coffeyville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
