Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Whitney Young to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anthony Hood, who rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Nasir Rankin, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown.
Whitney Young has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Taft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Simeon is ranked 179th, while Whitney Young is ranked 167th).
