While Manchester put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Black River. The Panthers put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 8-0 win. Considering the Panthers have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Manchester is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Black River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
