Nicholas County is still undefeated this season after their contest against Berea on Friday, but Berea came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Bluejackets came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Pirates. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bluejackets also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Nicholas County's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Berea, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Nicholas County will head out to take on Bishop Brossart at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bluejackets 3.2, the Mustangs 14.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Berea, they will take on Harlan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
