The Flint River Academy Wildcats put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fullington Academy 41-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Flint River Academy, who have now won six matches by 29 points or more so far this season.
Leading Flint River Academy to victory were Lucas Martin and Trenton Young. Martin rushed for 63 yards and three touchdowns, while Young rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Flint River Academy's victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30 points. As for Fullington Academy, they have fallen quite a ways from their 8-4 record last season and are now at 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flint River Academy will take on Aucilla Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Aucilla Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Fullington Academy will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Augusta Prep Day at 7:00 p.m. on November 2nd.
