Section 3 Class D - East recap September 10, 2013
Sauquoit Valley scaled the state rankings by moving to 384 from 433 this week, the biggest jump in Section 3 Class D - East. The Indians climbed the ranks as a result of besting Mt. Markham 32-28.
Sauquoit Valley and the Mustangs played the most contested game in the league this week, with Sauquoit Valley eventually emerging with a 32-28 victory. Korey Lewandrowski threw for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 36 yards during the win.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Herkimer takes on Dolgeville. As it stands, the Magicians are in third, while the Blue Devils are in fourth.
