The Crossroad Academy Scorpions's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Graceville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. Crossroad Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 512th, while Graceville is ranked 62nd).
With a playoff game on the line, Crossroad Academy rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 39-30.
Meanwhile, Graceville earned a 54-42 win over Blountstown on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Graceville.
Graceville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brianna Adams, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Adams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was De?auana Robinson, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Crossroad Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Graceville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.
