If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Bishop Garrigan. On Friday they take on North Union at 7:00 PM. Bishop Garrigan are coming into the matchup hot, having won six in a row.
It was a close one, but last Friday Bishop Garrigan sidestepped Belmond-Klemme for a 22-20 victory. The Bishop Garrigan offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 8-47, which was the final score in North Union's tilt against West Hancock.
Bishop Garrigan's win lifted them to 6-0 while North Union's loss dropped them down to 2-4. We'll see if Bishop Garrigan's success rolls on or if North Union are able to steal their positive momentum.
