In other batting news, Adams-Friendship got a massive performance out of Kena Kirsenlohr, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. At the plate, Montana Rowe made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
Adams-Friendship has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Nekoosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Adams-Friendship beat Nekoosa 3-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Green Devils repeat their success, or do the Papermakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
