Meanwhile, McAllen Memorial unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Pioneer by a score of 41-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat McAllen Memorial has suffered since December 1, 2023.
Valley View's loss was their 14th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-16. As for McAllen Memorial, their defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-12.
