Eisenhower dropped their record down to 10-12 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Sunnyside Grizzlies by a score of 4-3. The Cadets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Grizzlies earlier this season, when they won 9-4.

As for Sunnyside, the win snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 4-19 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since April 23, 2024.

For Sunnyside's part, Ryker Heeringa spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Trey Castro, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

As of now, neither Eisenhower nor Sunnyside have any future games scheduled.
