Star-Spencer made easy work of Crooked Oak on Friday and carried off a 41-14 win. Star-Spencer were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Star-Spencer's record up to 2-4. The defeat dropped Crooked Oak's record to 1-5.
Next week Star-Spencer take on Community Christian at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both of those teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Crooked Oak, they will face off against Little Axe. Little Axe are limping into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
