Omaha Westside had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Millard North Mustangs 42-40. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Omaha Westside's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kimora Jenkins, who posted 12 points. Thanks to that strong game, Jenkins now owns an excellent 40.3% three-point shooting accuracy. Himayajo Metoyer was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds.

Omaha Westside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emma Vander Plaats, who scored 15 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Avril Smith, who earned 15 rebounds and eight blocks.

Omaha Westside's record now sits at 20-6. As for Millard North, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-4.

Omaha Westside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-35 win against Bellevue West on the 7th. Millard North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
