The Colton Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 12th straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 62-56 to St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Colton has struggled against St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse recently, as their game on Saturday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Colton still got an impressive performance from Matthew Reisenauer, who scored 17 points. Reisenauer continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landen Miller out in front who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Miller scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Rocha, who scored 14 points.
Colton bumped their record down to 2-17 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Prescott at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Prescott is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse and Valley Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Valley Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
