After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brook Hill, Frankston was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Grapeland Sandies with a sharp 53-33 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season.
Several Sandies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aaliyah Tryon, who posted 18 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Tryon continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mikayla Woods, who put up two points in addition to seven rebounds, four steals, and three blocks.
Frankston now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Grapeland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Frankston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 47-24 win against Joaquin on the 5th. Grapeland has also already played their next contest, a 65-44 victory against Latexo on the 10th.
