Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bigfork). They blew past the Stevensville Yellowjackets 66-16 on Saturday. The Vikings & Valkyries have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

Stevensville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tanner Brown, who posted six points. Jake Gavlak was another key player, putting up five points.

Bigfork's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Stevensville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Bigfork is taking a road trip to face off against Libby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stevensville has already played their next contest, a 38-35 defeat against Anaconda on the 13th.
