Leo has won eight straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger has won eight straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Lions will welcome the Saints at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Leo 2.6, Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Leo came out on top against Norwell on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Lions walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Knights.

Landon Ruoff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luke MacDonald, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Grant Robinson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger). They never let Fort Wayne North Side get on the board and left with a 22-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Braxton Bermes was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Cruz Rolf, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.
Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Wayne North Side only posted a batting average of .000.
Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Leo, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.
Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Leo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .483. However, it's not like Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger struggles in that department as they've averaged .475. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Leo couldn't quite get it done against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 6-3. Will the Lions have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
